Hull corrosion protection for Semi-Submersibles & Jack-Up Rigs

Cathelco are using their experience to design hull corrosion protection systems for a new generation of offshore structures. These can combine ICCP systems and sacrificial anodes to achieve the optimum level of corrosion protection for pontoons and bracings.

By viewing the animation, you can see how ICCP systems monitor electrical ‘potential’ and regulate anode output to neutralise corrosive activity on hull surfaces. This ensures effective corrosion protection throughout the design life of the structure
